Photo of the Dunster Store, 1953. This Building burned in 1955. School in background. Notice the gas pump in front of the store. Gas was hand pumped into a glass container at the top then gravity fed into a vehicle. Truck to the right is a 1952 Ford owned by Eric Norum and later sold to Slim Fry.
The Dunster Store and Post Office, at the time of this photograph, was owned by Bob and Leola Haan. In 1955, this building burned down and the store was then set up in the warehouse on the far right). This warehouse is still a part of the store today.
